I have heard about some electric blankets for sale, I just wanna know that are they really safe. Are these electric blankets worth using or they are dangerous for the baby’s soft skin or may be they can give a shock to the baby and we never know about that.

Hey Yoshimitsu, this is not a big deal. Even I would not like to spend my money on babies untill and unless they are my beloved. According to me, you should go for chenille blanket as they are not so expensive and are bright in colour.

Are these chenille blankets worth giving away as a gift to a baby or I should go for a cheap fleece blanket. People might be thinking that I a miser, I am sorry for that but I don’t want to spend much money for someone else’s baby.

I would love some personalised embroidered baby blankets for my new born nephew, I personally think that they are the best one for gifting to a baby, since I don’t know how to prepare it, I would love to purchase it and then gift it.

You are right Sonia, these kids love such blankets and if they are king sized blankets, then the baby wants it after growing up also. The love and affection that any mother has in her heart is being shown by the care she gives to her baby and a blanket is indeed an integral part of it.

I think that the baby loves picture blankets. It is not like that it is just for a new born, even 2-3 year old love such picture blankets and they never leave such for the sake of toys also. It shows how much they are attracted towards their mother’s love.

You are absolutely correct Butcher, a mother feels satisfied when the baby is sleeping wrapped in the warm cozy blanket. It doesn’t matter whether the blanket is satin baby blanket or a cotton one. However, on the new born the red baby blanket or a pink one suits the best.

I agree with you Robert, the blanket gives a feeling of security to the baby as well as the mother. The blanket can also be called as the baby security blanket, no matter whatever may be the colour, fabric and everything.
